# General Settings & Project Deletion

Learn how to manage project display name, subdomain prefix, website favicon, and permanently delete projects.

Every website project includes a **General Settings** panel to manage basic website identity metadata, branding assets, and high-security operations like project deletion.

## Step 1: Open General Settings

In the Console sidebar under your Project, expand **Site Settings** and select **General**.

## Step 2: Configuring Project Identity & Branding

From this panel, you can update:

1. **Project Display Name**: The name shown in your workspace dashboard, headers, and browser title defaults.
2. **Subdomain URL**: The unique platform address prefix (e.g. `https://myclub.clubcreator.app`).
3. **Website Favicon**: Upload a custom icon (`.png`, `.svg`, or `.ico` up to 1MB) that displays in browser tabs and bookmark bars when visitors browse your site.

Click **Save Changes** in the header to persist your updates.

## Step 3: Deleting a Project (Danger Zone)

To prevent accidental data loss, project deletion is isolated at the bottom of the General Settings page in the **Danger Zone**:

1. Scroll to the **Danger Zone** card at the bottom of the page.
2. Click the **Delete Project** button.
3. In the confirmation dialog, type the exact **Project Name** to confirm your intent.
4. Click **I understand, delete this project**.

> Deleting a project is permanent and irreversible. All pages, configured blocks, uploaded assets, form submissions, and published history will be permanently deleted immediately.
