Publishing Articles with the Lexical Editor

Club Creator features a dedicated Article Editor built on the Lexical framework, offering a clean, distraction-free writing experience for club news, match reports, and announcements.

Step 1: Accessing the Articles Collection

From the Console sidebar under your Project, navigate to Content -> Articles.

This list shows all draft and published articles with their publication dates and tags. Click the Add Article button to open the editor.

Step 2: Composing your Article

The Article Editor opens in a focused full-page interface:

1. Cover Image: Click the top banner area to upload a header image asset.
2. Article Title: Type your headline directly at the top.
3. Tags: Add categorical tags (e.g. match-report, announcement) by typing a keyword and pressing Enter.
4. Excerpt / Summary: Provide a short synopsis that displays on article cards and search snippets.
5. Rich Text Body: Write your content with full support for headings, bold/italic formatting, bullet lists, numbered lists, blockquotes, and code blocks.

Step 3: Saving and URL Slugs

Click Save Article in the top right.

The system automatically generates a permanent, date-stamped Article Slug (e.g. 2026-09-01-season-opening-victory), ensuring search-engine friendly URLs for your live articles. Dynamic News List blocks on your site will automatically display your newest posts!
